Ari JONSSON

Ari JONSSON is the CEO of Videntifier, a leader in visual search technology. He has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University, and spent 10 years developing AI capabilities for NASA in Silicon Valley, before joining Reykjavik University in Iceland to serve as the president for 12 years. Throughout his career, he has played numerous roles in public policy, community building, VC investment and consulting, with particular focus on innovation using cutting-edge technology. All of this has come together in his current role at Videntifier, a company that is selling its advanced solutions to leading platforms and brands, but also working hard to apply the technology to help stop the distribution of harmful, illegal and pirated visual content.
