Bastien REMY

Bastien REMY works for the European Commission in the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT).

After several experiences in communicating on culture and creative arts, he moved to Brussels in October 2015, and spent two years in the Spokesperson’s Service of the European Commission before joining the Cabinet of then President Jean-Claude Juncker as policy and communication assistant. After a stint as speechwriter, he started to work for the Commission’s team responsible for the financial support to European news media organisations and video games companies in 2021 – which is still his current job. He graduated from Sciences-Po Lille (France) and the University of Kent (UK).
