Katja ZIBREK

Katja ZIBREK is a research scientist at the Inria Center at the University of Rennes in France. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, as well as a doctorate in computer science from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. Her primary research focuses on the perception of virtual humans in immersive environments, integrating methods and concepts from psychology and computer graphics. In her recent work, funded by the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship, she investigated the potential of creating appealing virtual humans for mental health and therapy applications in VR.
