Before working as an R&D engineer for Mindtrick Innovations, David GROGNA spent 12 years as a researcher at the university of Liège. His fields of interest are computer vision for stereoscopic 3D and XR. During his S-3D research, he explored the theoretical aspects of this field, developing innovative stereo matching algorithms and in practice through setup of various pioneering live 3D retransmissions. His XR experience evolves around expanding standard ways to interact with VR environment, mainly via eye tracking. Alongside his research, he had diverse opportunities to speak on stage presenting his work and popularize those fields. He has also been a key member of the teams that prepared the 14 editions of Stereopsia and the 12 editions of its scientific conferences.
